Instructional Technology Lab Coordinator
Oscar supervises the daily operations of the language lab facilities, in conjunction with Amy Hendrix. He assists instructor and student patrons with lab resources, conducts class workshops, provides project assistance to language instructors, and manages CIT student workers, who provide support to faculty, staff and student patrons of CIT's three facilities. In addition, he participates in a number of program development tasks for CIT's support of Duke language departments and programs, and also participates in the Blackboard support rotation.
Background
Prior to coming to CIT in 2006, Oscar worked as a senior library assistant in the Duke University science branch libraries. He attended Syracuse University, where he studied international relations and modern foreign languages. He has also taken courses in information systems and computer network administration.
