Yvonne leads program evaluation for CIT and for Duke's Clinical Research Training Program and provides leadership to library assessment efforts. Her work has included serving on library- and university-wide planning committees and working groups. She also serves on the Association for Clinical Research Training's Evaluation Committee.
Yvonne joined CIT and Duke Libraries in 2003. Previously she worked for three years with the Information Institute of Syracuse (IIS) at Syracuse University where she collaborated with senior IIS researchers on many successful grant proposals and awards, managed the AskERIC Q&A Service and served as Project Manager for the AskNSDL project. Prior to her 1999 shift into higher education and research, she spent four years as a middle school math educator. Her background includes the NSF Summer Evaluation Institute at The Evaluation Center of Western Michigan University; a Masters degree in Instructional Design, Development and Evaluation from Syracuse University; and a Bachelors degree from St. John's College, Annapolis. She is also a recent graduate of the BRIDGES Academic Leadership program.
