Digital Projects Consultant
Jim divides his time between CIT and the Library's Digital Projects Department. For CIT, he designs and implements database-driven web applications and other forms of information technology infrastructure.
Background
Jim worked briefly at the Library of Congress before coming to Duke Libraries' Library Systems in 1985. He joined CIT in 2000. He has a bachelor's degree in Christian education from High Point University, a master's degree in divinity from Emory University, and a master's degree in library science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also has Microsoft, Oracle and Java certifications.
