Instructional Technology Lab Coordinator
Amy supervises the daily operations of the language lab facilities, in conjunction with Oscar Arias. She assists instructor and student patrons with lab resources, conducts class workshops and provides project assistance to language instructors. In addition, she participates in a number of program development tasks for CIT's support for Duke language departments and programs, including the development of multimedia resources sites, and also participates in the Blackboard support rotation.
Background
Amy has five years' experience as a teacher of academic writing, and has worked since 1999 as a web developer. She has an A.B. in Modern Culture and Media from Brown University, and has studied Literature at Duke and Computer Science at North Carolina State University.
