Academic Technology Consultant

Shawn consults with faculty on the integration of technology into their teaching, primarily with the Social Sciences.

Background

Before joining CIT as an Academic Technology Consultant  in late 2006, Shawn was the Manager of Media Production for the University of Texas at El Paso, where he worked with faculty on the design and implementation of their hybrid and online courses. He also managed the design and development of several multimedia projects to support teaching and learning, grant-related activities, and community outreach programs. Shawn has a master’s degree in Rhetoric and Writing Studies.
