Duke's Teaching and Learning Center will open in Fall 2008 in Perkins Library.

    Flexible learning spaces promote interactive learning experiences and dynamic teaching through a combination of mobile and/or reconfigurable furniture and a wide range of adaptable technologies.  A single space may be configured to handle one or more teaching/learning strategies, including:

     In October 2007, Dan Gilbert from Stanford University gave a presentation at Duke entitled, "Innovation in Flexible Learning Spaces".
