Assessment

Educational assessment and evaluation refer (often interchangeably) to the process of gathering evidence about the effectiveness of educational activities, programs and interventions. Assessment frequently refers to measuring student learning or the effectiveness of a teaching strategy. Evaluation is often a broader term which describes the systematic process of judging merit, worth or significance of a course or program.
