Consulting and Office Visits

Consulting

Consulting is provided to individual faculty, faculty groups and departments by CIT professional staff on a variety of topics related to effective uses of technologies to improve teaching and learning.

Office Visits

Office visits are personalized training sessions for one or two faculty members, usually provided in faculty offices by trained CIT student assistants or professional consultants. Office visit topics vary as needed to meet faculty needs for convenient, personalized training.

Faculty interested in training for more than two people in their department can consult the list of potential topics and contact CIT to request a workshop.

CIT reporting

When you meet with CIT for a consultation or an office visit, the content of your discussions with us is confidential. We do include the meeting or appointment in our contact counts, and in various reports we create yearly about CIT work by department.

When you receive funding from CIT for a project or Fellowship, your CIT-supported work will be described on our web site, and in CIT publised materials where relevant, and will be attributed to you.
