Submit a question about Wimba
Get in touch with us if you have a question about Duke's pilot of the Wimba Voice Tools.
The Duke Digital Initiative is sponsoring a pilot of the Wimba Voice Tools product integrated with the Blackboard course management system. This pilot began in mid-fall 2007 and is continuing through the 2008-2009 academic year, to allow sufficient time for a full evaluation of the tool's use in the Duke curriculum.
Wimba Voice Tools allow instructors to integrate live audio recording and playback functionality into almost all areas of their Blackboard course, including announcements, quizzes or surveys, and content items. All Blackboard instructors currently have access to the Wimba Voice Tools through the Control Panel of their Blackboard course space(s). Instructions and further information about the different voice tools and their setup are available in the Tools section of this site; see the links at right to navigate to those pages.
