Enhanced classroom presentations with Tablet PCs

Tablet PC Case StudyTablet PCs are a type of laptop computer with a screen you can write on using a special pen. They can be used as a blackboard, a whiteboard, an overhead projector and a computer.  Advanced users can collect student submissions as either polls or drawings, display the results and discuss them during class.

If you would like to save the notes you write on the board, or draw or write on your illustrations, a tablet PC may facilitate your teaching and help you easily share your lecture notes and annotations with your class via your Blackboard course space.

Read this case study to learn more about these and other Tablet PC uses and  how Duke faculty are using this tool for engaging, spontaneous classroom presentations.
